Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.

I wanted to like and enjoy this. I've been wanting to see the anime since forever. Bought the first two light novels off of Right Stuf Anime's website years ago, hoping to start reading to tide me over until I could get my hands on a physical copy of the anime series. But sadly, I can't bring myself to finish this first book. There's too much vagueness, too little character voice differentiation, too many rapid perspective shifts, and I just don't have the time and patience for this mysteriousness from the off. I'll be selling my copy of this and the second book. Hopefully someone else will enjoy them.
