Georgie, All Along
by Kate Clayborn
Georgie has a long history of putting others first, which has led her to having a successful career as a personal assistant. But when she unexpectedly loses her job and leaves LA to return to her hometown in Virginia, she realizes she really never considers her own needs. At home, she finds an old diary she shared with her best friend, documenting how she imagined her life would go. She decides to take some of the challenges and do the things her teenage self envisioned she would do. When she ends up sharing her parents house with Levi, a mysterious and grumpy man with a big reputation in town, he offers to help her with this journey.
This sweet small town romance was everything Hallmark dreams are made of. It has the chemistry and tension, the type of forced proximity that only makes sense in romance novels/movies, a wonderful cast of side characters including a dog, and a great message about finding your own way and that it is never too late to start over and live your dreams. The growth and character development in this story was phenomenally written. This was just such a sweet book!
