The Oresteia: Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers, The Eumenides by Aeschylus

We learned about this book in school and I don't know what had gotten into me, but I found the premise interesting. I decide it to read it myself and I certainly wouldn't read it if it wasn't for school.

The story was interesting but I don't think that I would understand the plot if they teacher didn't tell us. There's not too much to expect, the language is old and it's very noticeable. On the other hand, I got used to it.

I can't really say much about it, everyone kills everyone and stuff like that. Only thing that surprises me is that in school we learned that Orestes' sister survives, becomes a priestess and when she has to kill her brother in a ritual, they run away back home. But nothing like this was in this book so I'm slightly confused.
