I completely under estimated what this book would do to me on an emotional level. Tijan is one of my favorite Authors. I started with the Fallen Crest series and than just needed every book she published after that. I’m still working on it. Wow. Reese and Charlie. Just, wow. At first I didn’t care for Charlie with all of her odd questions. But, then you see that’s the only way she adapts with coping. And Reese was your stereotypical emotionally unattached, but insanely attractive guy. This story just kept you on your toes. I wasn’t prepared for what these two went through in the past or what they were GOING through in the book. The ending had me in tears. My boyfriend says he can never amount to my expectations now that I’ve read about Reese lol. Highly recommend this. Well done once again Tijan!
