Wait for Me by Tia Louise

I know this is random but I loved the way they spoke. I couldn’t help but imagine a country accent and it was so cute 🤣 Anyways, this book had me hooked from the very beginning. At times it felt a little slow but I was still invested, if that makes sense. I couldn’t help but root for Taron and Noel. My husband was in the Marines for 4 years and away from home so much. I couldn’t help but feel for Noel. Not hearing from the love of your life for weeks on end is hard. If the military wanted you to have a significant other they would have issued you one, that was one of the hardest things to understand while he was in. The rollercoaster this book takes us through was intense. It has 2 tropes that I’m not a huge fan of and I still really enjoyed it. The ending 🥹 it was perfect! It made all the hard stuff worth it.
