Never Deal with a Dragon by Robert N. Charrette
3.0
2.5-3 stars, we'll round up.
This was kind of a slog. I love the cyberpunk genre, but this was kind of cyberpunk if you peel away all the cool things that make cyberpunk cyberpunk and just read about a day in the life of a runner. The accoutrements were there: enhancements, the net, magic, giant corporations, dragons, etc, but the author somehow made them boring.
