Very much not my genre from the outside looking in,  I am a chick-lit, rom-com fiction reader. The first few chapters were slow for me to get into but I became hooked and the last few chapters made me never want to put it down. The book ends on a cliff hanger, and while I expected as much, my jaw was still fully on the floor at the last sentence.
