I loved this! I read it in a day as I couldn't put it down. This book is the second in the Dan 'Spider Shepherd series but it didn;t matter that I had not read the first one, the story was easy to follow and the characters background is explained throughout.
The story was action packed and perfect example of how 'loose lips sink ships' I loved that it kept me on the edge of my seat and I was also really nervous for Dan. As well as being an excellent crime thriller writer, the author also has an excellent ability of giving the characters real lives, lives you can identify with and really feel you are getting to know the characters. The ending was brilliant, not what I expected at all.
There was one fault, I wanted to know what happened to one certain character (Sewell) That said, it did not take away my enjoyment of this book. I will definately be reading the rest in this series, and have just downloaded the first one, Hard Landing.
Highly recommended, anyone who likes a good exciting thriller - but set some time aside, it is hard to put down!
