This is hard to review for me, because it's a bit like two separate books in my mind...
We have two peoples stories in this first book of the series.
I loved one, and was rather bored by the other. So I would give five stars to the story of Tyen. I couldn't read fast enough in those parts of the book, because I NEEDED to know what would happen!
And then there's Rielle. It started off ok, but then her story arc changed and got way too much focused on the love part for my liking, and not much really happened for quite a while, so I couldn't read those fast enough to get back to Tyens story.
This leaves me with a dilemma in choosing the starts to give this book. I'd opt for 3,5 but since that is not possible, I'm going with 3, hoping that the second book will bring more adventure to the Rielles story and therefore lift it up to a 4-5 star book.
