BRIDE, it was fun to read another novel from Ali Hazelwood. Besides, she is so popular. Her works always caught my attention. When the first time she announced would released werewolf and vampire things, I was excited.  It has been a long time since I read this kind of thing. And, Bride made me remember my childhood was surfing in AO3. A perfectly comeback for an awesome story.

It was started with a young vampire, Misery, who forced to married a werewolf alpha for some kind of politics, theotory things. But, she found out her roommates were gone and related to the werewolf named Lowe, which was supposed to be her husband. They were married, and the conflict began.

Ali Hazelwood represents a lot about werewolf and vampire concepts that we know in Misery and Lowe characters. Misery was kind of independent young vampire, she typically not easy to arranged. And, Lowe, as an alpha, dominant, and controlling.  A slow burn relationship between them was good. I love it, typically a slow burn. Not too much intens contact, but the relationship develops time by time.

"Misery."

The way Lowe called her wife, anytime, every time, so addictive (To be honest, this kind of alpha thing made me laugh sometimes. Like, "omg. I KNOW IT WILL BE HAPPEN." I don't call that bad. I just feel so nostlagic).

"You’re not a problem, Misery. You’re a privilege."

And, a conversation between them so lovely. At least, They were communicated well.

"My job is to protect you, and I failed. It happened under my watch, when I was standing inches away from you."

“There you go.” My cheeks heat up. “A good reason for me not to leave. In fact, you should keep me even closer.”

The conflict is not kind of a new thing, I thought we could find it in another story. But Ali seems to know how to make the taste better. I enjoyed following the story.

Bride is such a bringing back the old concept of fiction thing on the internet from Ali Hazelwood. And, I love it! ♡
