Meh. Honestly the most disappointing this about this book was that there was nothing new to absorb. While reading it felt like all the information Freedman and Barnouin were providing was heavily regurgitated from studies they'd read and written in the book with what seems to be their trademark "sassiness" which is really just them throwing in the casual swear word or mild vulgarity while insulting the people reading their book to get a little insight. They're offensive the whole way through calling people fat asses and tubs of lard....not a way to get people on board.

The book wasn't written well and I found it quite preachy and absurd. I didn't realize that it was written with a mind to turn everyone vegetarian either. I'm totally fine with vegetarianism and people who choose not to eat meat, but I don't like the preachy attitude from those who are vegetarians towards those who choose to eat meat. I think there are conscientious ways to eat meat with a mind for the animal. Buying your meat directly from local farms for one rather than the processing plant meat. But I digress.

I just didn't like the way the book was written and the lack of any real information. These girls have no qualifications beyond their years working in the modelling world which we all know isn't a world where eating healthy is top priority.
Even if the book was all about eating veggies and no meat I could have jumped on board if I felt the information was intelligent and worth reading. Alas, I didn't. I already knew most of what these ladies were talking about and so I was disappointed that their 'view' wasn't really new or fresh but really just taking everything that has already been talked about and rewriting it as a way to belittle people who don't share their vegan view. Ah well.
