I found Tarah Dewitt at Funny Feelings, and have been on that train ever since. It never occurred to me that I missed one until I realized I’d never read Rootbound - and I’m so glad I did.

📕 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Rootbound by Tarah Dewitt

📙 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Standalone

📗 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: Audiobook on Hoopla. 🆓 on KU.

📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Cowboy romance

📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Love after divorce, found family, romcom vibes.

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Tate is reeling from a messy divorce when her company sends her to Idaho -  to her estranged family’s range where she meets the brooding Henry.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: It’s a weird thing, so go back to the beginning with an author who you’ve watched refine her craft to near perfection. But if I had read Rootbound when it came out, I definitely still would have followed Tarah Dewitt and ended up where we are today.

Rootbound was stunning. The characters had depth, the story was just as much about Tate healing herself as it was about her romance with Henry. The writing set a scene that was impossible not to be immersed in. The audio was great as a great find on Hoopla, and it only added to the experience.

𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
