Loved this so much. The author minces no words. If you liked something like Severance the show or other weird-you-don’t-quite-know-what’s-going-on-until-the-end things (and even then it’s open to some interpretation), you’d like this. <spoilers> The author deftly discusses colonialism and its lasting impact, colorism, feminist issues, race (particularly focusing on Pakistan and Indian relations), and more in such a short space. I did not see the cannibalism part coming at all, and even then, how much of it was physical eating of people or just “ingesting” their ideas and stories? I would certainly reread this in future. <spoilers>
