I learned quite a lot about the perspective of a black woman on certain topics and it was very important for me to read about the experiences and anger she has had because it’s something that I, as a white woman, have obviously never experienced. I enjoyed her style of writing a lot and the book made me reflect on my privilege as a white woman and what I, as an individual, can do to make the world a tiny bit better.
