Don't Quit The Day Job by J. S. Cooper
3.75

This is a kind of fast pace kind of romance with the banter and such.
Lila wants to be an actress, but needs a job to finance her life, so she can go out for auditions. She somehow gets a job working as a secretary to one of the top lawyers in New York, and it wouldn't be sooo bad, if he wasn't so hot! And kind of rude.
Max goes through secretaries so quickly that his business partners make a bet that he can't keep one for one month, but he has to choose the first one he meets that applies for the vacancy. In walks Lila...and comedy ensues.
At first, she sees him as the no heart attorney and doesn't really want to stay, but then he slowly shows that there is more to him than what he seems. And when he sees Lila, he teases at first, but realizes how valuable she is, and not only at work.
This is good fun office romance and has some giggles here and there.
