I thought this was a great, still whimsical and ridiculous and fun depiction of Alice in Wonderland in a bit of a more mature setting. I appreciate that everything is after the fact and does not disrupt the movie depiction. It connected Alice's "real" life and Wonderland Life as it made a direct correlation between characters in Wonderland who could be inspired by her real life. The book also mentioned theories that have circulated since the animated movie, and it felt like there was a sense of satisfaction from having the characters reply to our questions in real life. Overall I enjoyed reading this book as it was non-sensical in the most wonderful and irritating way.
