i loved the concept for this one! the universe was extremely lush and the environmentalist themes hit a little too close to home. much like other work i have read by the author i wish certain things had been more fleshed out or introduced with a less heavy hand, and the romance was great once it was going though i had difficulty getting why they fell together in the first place (though once they were together, they were great, and i bought it!). the ending also left a little to be desired. as a hunger games girl the love for those books was evident here. all in all i had a good time with this even if i wanted a little More out of it!
Graphic: Animal death, Violence
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Fire/Fire injury, Sexual harassment
