Another Shot at Love by Larissa Hommes

A short story by one of my favorite authors who just so happens to be a friend of mine, sign me up. One trope that I’m not a fan of is second chance but sometimes I’ll read one and actually enjoy it and this is one of them. I loved the back and forth between time lines since it was a short story. I’m not sure if it were full length if I would have loved it as much. For some reason it just worked as a short story. We first meet Crew and Addie as adults and they run into each other fourteen years after dating in high school. Then the next chapter takes us back to when they first met and how their relationship progress and then ultimately ended before college. I loved the storyline so much and the characters were so fun. It also helped that my husband had hockey on the tv while I read it. It’s a super quick read and really cute. I couldn’t help but root for Addie and Crew Freaking Anderson!
