but it was very entertaining, and that's all that matters. this book can be seen as a guilty pleasure as not everything in here makes sense nor do you really want to accept it but i do because i suspend all belief and realistic expectations so i can enjoy books and this was definitely one i needed to do that more than i usually do, and i was happy i did because i can imagine that in the epilogue tiernan was actually happy and it wasn't like a 'midsommar' she's only happy because she's being manipulated (even though she likely was lol but i can keep my brain from acknowledging that)
