The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa
3.0
3.5 ✨
simple emotional tale from a cat's pov. I was thrilled by the idea but the execution felt overly done and the ending well it was predictable. Though it tried to have a message that no matter what happens life goes on. it missed the mark slightly making it almost a sob fest. Though i enjoyed the relationship and affection shared by Nana, the cat and Satoru the owner.
Sucha dear fella. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it but not particularly a fan of the book. So 3.5 It's then!
As we count up the memories from one journey, we head off on another.
Remembering those who went ahead. Remembering those who will follow after.
And someday, we will meet all those people again, out beyond the horizon.
