I love these books, though any time you have a series, some in the series will be better than others. This one was one that I liked less than some of the others, but still enjoyed. Goldy Schulz, caterer and amateur sleuth extraordinaire, is up to her eyeballs in drama and mystery again. The plot about a private investigator being murdered was kinda ho-hum, coupled with way too many side stories in my opinion. There were so many characters and sub-plots intertwining with each other that I felt a couple of them could have been subtracted and there still would have been a strong story. Overall, a fun read, though.
