The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
3.0
It's really more of a 3 1/2, but I'll err on the side of "meh". I did read this book in about 4 hours, but it was short and a quick read.
What I didn't really enjoy about this book was the blatant setup of the "unreliable narrator, BUT IS SHE REALLY UNRELIABLE? What if she's not????" nonsense. I felt like her characters weren't so much revealed to us as they were presented as a series of cliched people. I liked the story itself, and the basic crafting of it, but her characters slapped us in the face with their issues rather than letting the story tell us about them.
I do recommend this as a really great beach read. It'll only take a day, and it's an enjoyable story.
