I love space and I loved this book.  It wasn’t too heavy on the science-fiction which I appreciated.  I found the way that Watney’s story was written in the format of diary entries to be interesting and it kept me reading.  Watney was very resourceful in finding ways to survive on Mars while those at NASA figured out how to bring him home.  The Martian had me hooked from the beginning and I was wildly entertained.
