I know I'm not the audience for this book and I'm a fan of Simon Singh in general, but I didn't enjoy this book at all. The jokes are laboriously explained (and usually with not much material to work off), and the author's own jokes aren't great. The chapter on female participation in maths is purposefully silent, which is really frustrating because there are lots of important things to be said.

Got me through covid isolation though so +1
