チェンソーマン 11
by Tatsuki Fujimoto
I had a good time with this series. Binge this just in one day.
The manga started off with Denji, a kid who had to be a devil hunter in order to pay off his father's debt. In this world, devils roam the earth causing death and chaos. The more feared the devil is the stronger it gets. Devilman are dead humans that are taken over by demons. When Denji died, pochita (his devil dog) is the one to take his body. Thus, born the chainsaw man.
I love most of the characters and their arcs - especially Aki's arc (probably the saddest too). The characters motivation and personality are understandable as well as complex in their own way. Ngl, I wish there's more of these characters (hopefully I will in Part 2).
The ending managed to rise some unexplained emotions in me but it's for sure bittersweet. I especially love the emotional closure that Denji have. And I really do love the message of it all. Took me a while to understand it but once I do, it really hits me.
Love, Love, Chainsaw Man - as the chapter said.
At least now I understand the hype over tgis manga. It really does deserve it.
