Fantastic Four: Life Story
by Mark Russell
Mark Russell and Sean Izaakse team up to tell a really captivating story of Marvel's first family as they age in real time starting in the 60s when they debuted. You get to see them dealing with real life events and it reads like real life in a comic book world and it was really good. Russell does a great job with showing Reed's obsessions, Sue's strength, and Ben's loneliness. I do think Johnny gets short changed a little. There are plenty of antagonists that have different roles to play and its very good. I felt the climatic end battle was too easy but I liked the next issue's ending. Sean Izaakse's art was very good and fit very well and I enjoyed seeing the changes in fashion and tech as the book proceeds. Overall, a must read for FF fans.
