A Curious Beginning
by Deanna Raybourn
I loved this so much and can honestly say that I had absolutely no idea where the author was going! Veronica and Stoker make the most unlikely pair, and yet, are matched perfectly.
Had to go look at the bad reviews to see if I was correct in why some people were rating this book one star. Yup. Veronica dared to talk about the fact that she had and liked sex. *Gasp* The greater sin, though, she said would rather die than be a mother of six children (when the minister's wife decided to set her up with a widower). How dare a woman not want kids or like kids! That didn't happen in the past! There were feminists back then, and if there were, don't write about them and give people ideas. Lol
