Winterling by Sarah Prineas

3.0

I didn't like this as much as the other middle-grade books I've read by Prineas. She plays with a lot of fairy and Celtic mythology in this story of a orphaned girl in search of answers about her parents and their deaths on the other side of the Way, where a Lady rules over a woodland inhabited by a puck, various wildlings, etc.

But almost everyone else seems to love this, and I do bet my 10 y.o. dd would like it, so check it out.
