This was the first book I read by Dani René, it was a great read. Lance and Guiliana, the quintessential Romeo and Juliet. He the older man, attracted to his boss' daughter. Guiliana's father took Lance in when he was living on the streets, trained him, watched as he worked his way up the ladder until he was the right hand man of the head of the family. A cold ruthless man, who doesn't even really care about his only child.

Lance and Guiliana are caught by her father and she is shipped off to a convent, until her 18th birthday. Lance was done waiting for his girl to find him, he was determined to find him. Of course there are obstacles, and events set in motion by her own father. Will their love be strong enough to withstand the storm that is approaching? Or will the storm destroy it all.

I really enjoyed this book, and I am really looking forward to reading the rest in this collection.
