Henry VIII by Paul Werstine, John Fletcher, William Shakespeare, Barbara A. Mowat

I really enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. It was so much easier to read aloud than read silently and I had great fun trying out awful french and welsh accents. I wish there had been a bit more interaction between Pistol, Nym, and Bardolph but oh well.

I read a kids' summary book of the play before reading the actual text and it was quite interesting that the book described what happened at the battle (the arrows blotting out the sun, horses stuck in mud, etc.) from historical accounts but this doesn't actually appear on stage in the actual play. It was also interesting to read the fictional account by Shakespeare whilst knowing the historical aspects of the Battle of Agincourt because in historical tellings you get the facts but in Shakespeare's telling you got to know the characters and either like or dislike the characters for their personalities.
