An absolute masterpiece by Stephen King. I pretty liked everything on it, the atmosphere is amazing, the characters are really likeable, well most of them (fuck you Irwin Goodman), the horror is very well done, being a very intense and spine-chilling story, which is an amazing take on death and mortality in general, i also like the edition, the simple prose and style of Stephen King works very well in this book’s favor, translating into a much more human, credible narrative, than it would be if it used a more labored style of writing. It’s not perfect, only god is if he even exists. The story is a little too slow in the beginning, and this may cause some impatient people to really give up on this book, but don’t do it, it’s amazing, and if you want a scary, spine-chilling story with some really poignant and hard-hitting moments, without being too tryhard and too complicated. This novel is for you.
