This book got under my skin in the best ways it’s such a beautiful but messy book all about obsession, toxicity and the fine line between love and destructiveness.
I’m a big fan of Schwab’s lyrical writing and this book didn’t disappoint. Her writing is so vivid and atmospheric and when she said this was her most personal book yet, you can tell. It feels so intimate with the characters following love, how they live and become monsters and all the questions in relationships we have sometimes asked ourselves.
If you love dark, gritty books with toxic sapphic vampires, you’ll love this.
