"She is my flame. My everything. My Blaze. And there's nothing more beautiful than fire."

Blaze is fucked up. Kohen is fucked up, and together they make one beautiful, fiery, fucked up mess. And I loved (almost) every second of it.

Blaze never had a good or stable upbringing. Her mother, and herself, are both addicts to whatever they can get their hands on. The only stable thing in her life is Kohen, and her asshole grandfather who will SOMETIMES send $50 for her to "eat that week".

Kohen was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and he has always been in love with Blaze since he first saw her as kids, but he had a fucked up way of showing it, and didn't realize until it was too late that Blaze thought he hated her. When in fact her did pretty much everything for her that he thought was good, but like I said he is fucked up, sooooooo...

This book was definitely a whirlwind of emotions. In the beginning I hated both Blaze and Kohen, but was we went along and I learned more about them, I grew to love them. They both had a lot of healing and trauma they had to work though, and Blaze had to see through all her hate before she realized the on solid thing that has been standing in front of her, and fighting for her this whole time.

I loved how smooth and easily the plot flowed, even when we would jump forward in time, there was always enough explanation to fill in the blanks, and not leave use guessing. However, towards the end I was getting a little worried about a few loose ends, but the last chapter closed everything out so well, and tied them all up with a pretty red bow.
