It’s hard to put away the fact that you know what will happen to these characters, yet still I kept reading, hoping against the odds that maybe. just maybe, a different outcome will happen. The writing was addictive and heart-wrenching, the characters fully fleshed out- even the side characters, however brief they appeared, mattered. A genius story on how absolute fascist power corrupts, from the mindless Capitol citizens brainwashed into believing its false idea of unity and peace to the citizens of the 12 Districts who walk a thin line between survival and death.
