I went into this with high hopes because who doesn't like a good retelling.  With sadness in my heart, I had to DNF this less than halfway through. It had everything I should have loved, but it just wasn't a hit for me. The MMC read a little old to me, and the MFC read a little young. I will read more from Karina Halle very soon.
