It's so refreshing to have a no nonsense, straight up, direct person of colour heroine ask/demand what she needs and have a true strong emotionally intelligent person of colour hero actually listen to her, honor, and whorship her and deal openly with his emotions ! !! I love that this hunky hero doesn't ask he to change but rather loves her as she is. They both change, but it's because they want to for themselves ! This was so more believable and authentic !
