This book was excellent. I read it for the supposed ‘plot twist’ at the end, however I had the ending sussed from about 50% of the way through. This is certainly not a bad thing, I felt the book was very well written and as the plot developed and my theory was becoming more clearly true by the chapter I was brimming with excitement. The reveal was satisfying rather than shocking, but I can imagine it would be excellently shocking for someone who hadn’t pieced the hints and signs together as I did. Being able to either figure out the ending through hints and good writing, or enjoy a thrill of shock from the reveal, is the sign of a good, well written mystery, and this book is exactly that. A brilliant read I’d certainly recommend.
