TW: Rape
I read the first book 6 years ago, (I didn't read the second, even though I own it.) I remember almost nothing. (And of course it was one of the few books I never reviewed.) Something to do with vampires and time travel. So since I'm reading everything I own, I'm going to hope something comes back. (It sort of did. At least I wasn't too confused.)
The Bad:
There was plenty of action but the action scenes weren't very well done. It felt tedious and I was bored. And I love action!
The romance took a turn for the worst. She only loves Mircea because of a magical geis thing. It made me completely dislike him and not want him as a love interest.
I never like journeys into Fairy and this book was no different. First we have an attack, a death, a horrible rape scene, then everyone in captured.
The Good:
My favorite part was actually when everyone sat in the tattoo shop discussing things. I love Mac. He's an interesting new character.
