This is a quick read for those who are looking for your typical mafia romance with a "touch-her-and-you-die" trope and HEA.
This would be the book you'd read to get your dark romance fix especially when recovering from heavier dark romance themes. I could also see it as an introductory dark romance book as it doesn't really dwell much on explicit themes and even the smut is perfect for readers who aren't as inclined to it like an avid smut reader.
