Angry Cookie by Laura Dockrill

2.0

This picture book has an eye-catching cover and title, but it's not particularly clever or funny, and it definitely doesn't have a constructive message at the end. The cookie vents his rage and then becomes emotionally clingy with the reader, just because they've listened to him rant. If this were funny enough, it might work, but this just seems awkward and unpleasant. I wouldn't read this to a child unless it was a talking point for how to deal with emotionally manipulative people. There are far better meta books, food-themed books, and attitude-related books available.
