The Exorcist
by William Peter Blatty
When the summer breeze brings a sudden icy chill, trust that it is nothing more than the demon king of wind singing his praise for the classic horror tome that is The Exorcist. The terrors inflicted by the Son of Hanbi upon young Reagan are not for the faint of heart or stomach. I loved this tale of tested faith and strength of will. This book quieted whatever room I found myself in and it is in that haunted silence where I found myself in awe of Evil, and breathless in the tearing battle against it.
