I really wanted to like this book. But oh man. Blake and Noah saved it. Loved them, loved their storyline. Their falling out was dumb but expected.
But Kat. Oh boy. She was just awful. The minute she was kinda okay, she was awful again. I skimmed most of her povs and couldn't really root for the Kat and Blake sisterhood.
Like you'd think, 15 years later, you're 27, maybe you'd stop blaming a 12 year old for events way beyond her control.
Felt like Henry should have called her out way more when she talked to him about this. And then suddenly things were all good with Blake? And we brushed a tonnnnn of stuff under the rug? Nah.
I'm also so extremely tired of the influencer trope. It's just old and it took up the first half of Kats pov.
If she'd been even a little more likeable, I'd have given this 4 stars.
