Slightly bonkers, and filled with too much logistics (but Mrs. X left the drawing room before Mr. Y, while Ms. Z had already gone upstairs and the others were in the hallway, so the murderer must have come in through the library - that kind of thing). I'm not giving up though. I will be the sort of person who reads gentle detective fiction from the 1930's if it kills me.
