The Masked City by Genevieve Cogman

So a mysterious library, a recovery agent and the world of fae and dragons. A recipe for disaster.

In book 2 of this fantastic series, Irene finds herself in the same old London of last book but without her trusted and very handsome sidekick, Kai. The disaster that I spoke of? Well this was the spark.

A battle between the fae and dragons loom large and only one librarian stands in the way.

Full of action, intrigue and some near death experiences, this book had me swearing at and rooting for Irene at the same time. The big overall arch of the plot is yet to be revealed but we do get a chance to peek about what's happening behind the shadows.
