The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
What turned me off the book only a couple of pages in was the unbearably irritating and cringey narrative voice. The protagonist being an entitled privileged white boy who is nothing more than a jerk certainly did not help. And there's the historical accuracy of which there is none.. the setting is a window dressing for contemporary societal attitudes, values and even speech patterns. One of the worst books I've ever attempted to read.
