Really wanted to love this. Some of the stories were great, but all in all I wasn’t sold. Great anecdotes on the power of community. Love that Janelle Monae took the time to expand upon her art in a different medium! Worth a read, I think. I’m not sure if maybe my speed read of this as an audio book affected my feelings. May someday re-read at a more leisurely pace.
