This one was really disappointing. I expected more from this book because the premise sounded so good.

But despite the title - The dragons are barely in this book. The story felt rushed. It jumped around a lot and a lot of characters were just there to die or do barely anything so when they finally did something important ... they either died either you forgot who they even were.

The ending also felt super rushed. Parts of this book dragged and didn't go anywhere but then the ending felt so rushed and condensed like the author wanted to do 10000 things at once in the last two chapters or so.

That being said, I loved the world in this one and loved all the new magical creatures introduced and I wouldn't mind reading more books set in this world because it was interesting. But I am not too sure about the mixing of real world weapons and magic. I just didn't like the guns being added and used it really took away from the story.
