Plot theory good and well thought out. Characters interesting. But the format became cumbersome. I didn't realize until the end that I should have been clicking on the footnote links to get more story at the very end. The ending was also disappointing. I assume the family teleported somewhere but it wasn't clear if the lack of knowledge was because I missed something in those darn footnotes or it was a conscious effort. This was overly complicated. I did appreciate the shift in epistle novel format but it went too far.
