Ah, now we're getting somewhere! A huge improvement over the first book, much tighter focus and better character development. Now I remember why I adored Laurana and Tas so much! It's been really surprising to me how little of the actual story I remember (even as I re-read), just snippets here and there, so it's almost like reading this for the first time except that I'm already familiar with most of the characters (though I've forgotten some of them too). It's been fun to pull out my [b:The Art of the Dragonlance Saga|260224|The Art of the Dragonlance Saga|Margaret Weis|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1387667815s/260224.jpg|252225] book to help me visualize them all again.
