Definitely did not anticipate I’d give this 5 stars, considering I gave the first one 3 stars and have been wanting to bump it down to two stars, BUT I loved Fox and Hannah’s characters and resonated with both of their perspectives/personalities/inner thoughts a lot. I also cried more times than I’d like to admit and cackled laughing at the bit about the harmonica (like actually cackled). Because I haven’t laughed or cried like while reading a book in a while and because this is the first book in a bit where I’ve really felt for the characters, understood them and their choices, and just genuinely fell in love with them, I’m giving this one 5 stars.
